I was playing at a really important chess tournament, and it started off with me losing all my games in the first half of the tournament. I was basically having a nightmare tournament, and I felt pretty down on myself. Thankfully, we had one day off which allowed me to take a little bit of a break from the stress of this tournament, and it also allowed me to fangirl to White Iverson all day, which is what I did. After the so-called ‘rest day’, I won three out of my last four games, and they were some of my best wins ever. I ended up with an ok result, which to me was great considering how rough my first half was.
