Parliament requires a coalition majority most of the time to form a government. In the US two-party system, the coalition is already formed. You have your Progressive Democrats, Moderate Democrats, and Independents, and vice versa for Republicans. Representatives align themselves on an individual level rather than a “small” party level. I’d be happy with just two parties that aren’t at the extreme fringes of the political spectrum and didn’t ignore the moderate majority because of the vocal minority of idiots on both sides pushing their obnoxious retarded agendas.
