His quickness and agility scores from the combine (3 cone drill, 20 yd shuttle) were lower than virtually every other WR and DB at the combine. It seems unlikely that he’ll be a dominant NFL receiver in scenarios where he needs to beat coverage using precise routes and quick cuts & changes of direction. He has a freakishly unique combination of skills that make him the ideal downfield receiver in the NFL. He can outrun, out-muscle, and out-jump defenders on deep balls and perimeter throws and could be a feared open-field runner with the ball in his hands (think Terrell Owens). I think every NFL coach would find a way to get him on the field, however the best fit for him would be on a team that throws downfield a lot with a strong-armed QB… and there are six that come to mind: Chiefs, Packers, Steelers, Bears, Seahawks, and Bills. As of today, Buffalo has the first shot at him (#9) and WR is one of their needs. Packers pick at #12, but never take offensive skill players in Round 1. The Steelers & Bears pick at #20 & #21 and I can’t see him lasting any longer than that.
