I am one…for one. Ganga is mellow. It leaves the system fairly quickly and one can function the next day as if the night before was spent just relaxing. There’s little risk of pointless altercations with other imbibers over stupid things that never amounted to anything in the first place. If one is like me, when I’m a bit stoned the last thing I want to do is get out there on the street and drive like everything is A-OK. Weed is a great tool used in the enjoyment of food and snacks (especially snacks) and I’ve yet to feel the urge to up-chuck when a bit ripped. The need to feel low self esteem because one is regarded to be ‘one of those dirty, pot-smokin’ hippies’ has dissipated. All in all, weed trumps booze and doesn’t propagate that enormous beer gut. Not that I don’t imbibe…I do. In small amounts…occasionally. Mostly wine….and a pipe.
