Jepsen will celebrate her 37th birthday next month title, most likely at home with her boyfriend and her cat, Jupiter. She’s currently touring her favorite show she’s ever put on in support of her favorite album that she’s ever made (so far). Jepsen feels “deeply grateful” to have a fan base so ravenous that they’ve already started asking her about The Loneliest Time: Side B. Alongside a handful of other career title_link “bucket list” moments—playing Cinderella on Broadway, performing on Saturday Night Live—Jepsen got Rufus Wainwright to collaborate on The Loneliest Time’s groovy title track. “I don’t know if it’s indulgent to refer to your own song as your opus,” she says, “but that’s exactly how I feel about it!” The accompanying music video is Jepsen’s most elaborate visual to date, featuring a neon-lit space disco populated with drag queens, dancing stars, and, yes, even the and I love this talking moon.
